The Great Barn, in its ideal setting and tranquil location, provides the perfect place to have your wedding, wedding reception, civil wedding ceremony, civil wedding partnership, wedding activities or private party.
The Converted 18th Century barn is divided into two rooms, which are both licensed for civil ceremonies and provide an ideal location for weddings.
Both rooms are approximately 18 metres by 6 metres and are interconnecting, both have central heating. The Aynho Room has two log fires and seats 50 people, whilst the Croughton Room seats 140 people.
Wedding marquee extensions can be added if required. The entrance lobby provides excellent toilet facilities for ladies and gentlemen as well as disabled facilities. Ample car parking facilities are available and cars can be left over night and picked up the day after the event.
Civil Wedding Ceremonies with numbers of 50 and under are ideally held in the Aynho Room, which has open log fires, whilst wedding ceremonies of over 50 are ideal in the Croughton Room, with its red carpet running along the wooden floor and gothic feel it has a church quality that a lot of venues lack.
Whilst dining is also held in the Croughton Room, once the wedding ceremony is finished, guests relax in the Aynho Room or gardens, whilst The Great Barn staff set up the Croughton Room for the meal.
