The Great Barn is licensed to hold Civil Wedding Partnerships.

Civil Wedding Partnerships with numbers of 50 and under are ideally held in the Aynho Room, which has open log fires, whilst partnership ceremonies of over 50 are ideal in the Croughton Room, with its red carpet running along the wooden floor and gothic feel it has a unique quality that a lot of venues lack.

Civil Wedding Partnerships in Oxfordshire.

Whilst dining is also held in the Croughton Room, once the Civil Wedding partnership ceremony is finished, guests relax in the Aynho Room or gardens, whilst The Great Barn staff set up the Croughton Room for the meal.

Once a reservation has been made at The Great Barn, the Registrar must be contacted and booked by you, they will take bookings up to 12 months in advance, however, provisional bookings may be made earlier. A separate fee is payable to the Registrar. The Great Barn is only registered with Towcester registrar.

The Wedding Rooms.

The rooms are approximately 18 metres by 6 metres and are interconnecting, both have central heating. The Aynho Room has two log fires and as well as being used for the general reception is licensed for civil partnership ceremonies.

The Croughton Room is also used for civil partnerships ceremonies as well as the main dining and dancing area and seats a maximum of 140 people for a sit down meal, whilst the capacity of The Great Barn in total for informal functions is 200 people.

Guests have exclusive use of both barns and neither can be hired out separately. Marquee extensions can be added if required. The Great Barn has an entrance lobby, which provides toilet facilities for ladies and gentlemen as well as disabled facilities.

Ample car parking facilities are available. and guests can leave their cars overnight and pick them up in the morning.
