Private Parties at The Great Barn

The converted 18th Century barn has two rooms. The rooms are approximately 18 metres by 6 metres and are interconnecting, both have central heating. The Aynho Room has two log fires and is used for the general reception but can also be used for dining when numbers are below 50. The Croughton Room is used for the main dining and dancing area and seats a maximum of 140 people for a sit down meal, whilst the capacity of The Great Barn in total for informal functions is 200 people. Guests have exclusive use of both barns and neither can be hired out separately. Marquee extensions can be added if required. The Great Barn has an entrance lobby, which provides toilet facilities for ladies and gentlemen as well as disabled facilities. Ample car parking facilities are available and guests can leave their cars overnight.

Our Rates Include:
Access to the Barn the day before the party (9am – 5pm) Use of the Barn on the day of the party between (9am – 12:20 midnight). An extension can be arranged if requested. Access on Sunday morning from 10am to collect wine, flowers, presents etc. Use of the gardens, patio area for photography and reception drinks. Guidance and advice throughout the planning of your party, personal attention throughout the preparation day and discreet management of your party. Exclusive use of The Great Barn including The Aynho and Croughton Room, gardens and Patio Area. Smoking is permitted in the gardens and outside The Great Barn.

The Great Barn provides you with high quality cutlery, glass and white china, tables (round or trestle), Ivory chairs, cake table and cloth, easel for your table plan, stands for your table names or numbers, candles on the fire places and alcoves, flower arrangements in the entrance hall and Aynho Room. A full pay bar including staff is also provided.
