From intimate meetings to large product launches, we’ve got it all. The Great Barn seats up to 140 guests formally and up to 200 informally. For larger functions we are able to offer a marquee. Our chefs also provide flexible, sophisticated catering from working breakfasts, bespoke buffets and light bites to banquets.
The experienced team at The Great Barn has been hosting business events for over 30 years, running over 200 corporate days and conferences a year. We understand that no two events are the same and pride ourselves on giving each event personal attention and individual flexibility.

Enjoy a room with a view! Host your conference, team building session or management meeting in the distinctive, atmospheric yet professional surroundings of The Great Barn.
Housed in magnificent 18th century barns which have been converted to offer the best of both worlds, our spacious private conference rooms with syndicate /breakout rooms offer fully equipped, modern facilities with the charm and elegance of a historic setting.
The Aynho Room is the main hospitality area where tea and coffee is served throughout the day as well as providing a comfortable place to relax by the fire or at the bar at the end of the day. The Aynho Room can also be used as a separate break out area for larger conferences.
The Croughton Room is the main conference room which boasts bags of natural light and can hold up to 120, theatre style. Both the Aynho and Croughton Rooms lead out onto the gardens and patio area.
The Patio Room is ideal for smaller conferences, meetings, seminars, workshops or training sessions, and can also be used as a separate break out area for the larger conferences.
An exclusive private event at The Great Barn is undeniably atmospheric - whether it is a Company annual dinner, anniversary, summer party or Office Christmas party. With roaring log fires, thick stone walls and high beams, there is no better rustic venue to celebrate in style.
Alternatively, joining a Shared Christmas party can be a great option for your office Christmas party. If you are a small office or separate department within a bigger organisation, this allows you to book tables at a full scale Christmas party whilst taking away the stress of organising it yourself.
The Great Barn provides all wines, spirits and soft drinks at competitive rates and also provides all glassware and drink service. A full pay bar is also provided.

The central location and easy motorway access of A Day in the Country makes it the ideal location for a national or local product launch.
We have ample space for all products, combined with extensive parking facilities for over 300 cars. We can arrange for the latest state of the art audio-visual equipment and professional set design.
